This long weekend brings you into close contact with iconic institutions, contemporary creatives, and the vast landscapes that inspired them all. Expect curated access, thoughtful conversation, and unforgettable skies.

Thursday, March 12 – After lunch in Midland, enjoy a private transfer across the West Texas plains toward Marfa. Along the way, pause at Prada Marfa, Elmgreen & Dragset’s iconic desert installation, a symbol of contemporary art in this remote landscape. Upon arrival, settle into your boutique hotel. In the evening, gather for a welcome cocktail and desert bites in a surprising venue.
Friday, March 13 – Spend the day immersed in Donald Judd’s transformative works at the Chinati Foundation. Your guided tour reveals the full collection, from Judd’s monumental steel and concrete installations to the dynamic sculptures of John Chamberlain downtown. As the sun dips below the horizon, savor a sunset dinner along Route 2810, where the vast desert landscape becomes a breathtaking backdrop for this unforgettable culinary experience.
Saturday, March 14 – Begin your morning at The Block, Judd’s former home and studio complex, now a focal point of the Judd Foundation. Explore the intimate spaces where Judd lived and worked, gaining insight into his philosophy and the ways Marfa shaped his vision. After lunch at a charming local café, spend the afternoon visiting artists’ studios. Conclude the day beneath the dazzling desert sky at the McDonald Observatory’s Star Party.
Sunday, March 15 – Our journey ends with a farewell brunch at a legendary Marfa venue, a final moment to share memories, and toast to the experience. Afterwards, a private transfer will escort you to Midland Airport for your onward journey.
