Wednesday, November 5 – Arrive in Marfa and settle into the iconic Hotel St. George. In the evening, join an exclusive welcome cocktail celebrating the opening of Romain Froquet’s exhibition. Meet the artist and mingle with fellow travelers, curators, and collectors. Dinner at leisure.
Thursday, November 6 – Immerse yourself in a full-day exploration of the Chinati Foundation, Donald Judd’s visionary art project. From monumental outdoor installations to the John Chamberlain Building in downtown Marfa, discover the full collection with expert guides. Then, enjoy a curated visit to Max Hetzler Gallery for a special presentation on the work of Richard Prince. As the desert light fades, gather for a sunset reception at MAINTENANT art gallery, where you'll meet and engage with local Marfa artists featured in the exhibition. Dinner at leisure.
Friday, November 7 – Begin the day with a private visit to the home of a local collector. After lunch, explore the Judd Foundation, including the newly opened Architecture Office, an important addition to Judd’s preserved legacy in Marfa. In the evening, share a picnic under the vast Texas sky, followed by a Star Party, where astronomers guide you through the constellations above the desert landscape.
Saturday, November 8 – Full day excursion to Fort Davis: visit the Webb Gallery, followed by an encounter with the curator at the Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute, who will share the unique interplay between art, science, and ecology in the region. After lunch, enjoy a private visit at the home of another distinguished local collector. Dinner at leisure.
Sunday, November 9 – Gather for a farewell brunch before departing Marfa.
