Today, Bayou Bend is part of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston (MFAH) and houses one of the nation’s finest collections of American decorative arts, paintings, and furniture spanning from the colonial era to the 19th century.

Our visit will offer an in-depth look at the history and artistry behind Bayou Bend’s remarkable collection. We’ll explore the beautifully preserved rooms that reflect different periods of American style and craftsmanship, learning how each space tells the story of the evolving tastes and ideals of a growing nation.
