About the event
A distinguished scholar and visionary curator, Lisa Volpe has shaped some of the museum’s most celebrated photography exhibitions and publications. During this special visit, participants will gain rare access to the Anne Wilkes Tucker Photography Study Center and discover how photographic works are preserved, researched, and studied within one of the nation's leading museum collections.
Following a private tour of the facilities, Lisa Volpe will present selected works from the collection and lead an intimate discussion, offering a unique opportunity to engage with photography in a study setting rather than a traditional gallery environment. This is a rare opportunity to explore the museum’s photography holdings from the inside and learn directly from one of the field’s leading curators.
