IN SITU ART Club invites you on a curated journey from Marseille to Arles, via Aix-en-Provence and Avignon — a path less traveled, rich with artistic resonance. This immersive experience offers privileged access to renowned foundations, intimate artist studios, and private collections, set against the backdrop of Provence’s vibrant cultural landscape. Along the way, enjoy refined gastronomy, exclusive encounters with contemporary creators, and moments of quiet beauty in timeless villages and elegant estates.

Day 1 – Arrive in Marseille and begin your journey with a leisurely lunch at the MUCEM, an architectural icon where contemporary design meets Mediterranean heritage. In the afternoon, step inside the studios of Marseille-based artists for an intimate introduction to the city’s vibrant creative scene. End the day with a seaside dinner. Overnight in Marseille at a 4-star hotel.


Day 2 – Start the day exploring Marseille’s creative districts, where historic sites, concept stores, and cultural spaces converge. In the afternoon, enjoy a curated series of studio visits featuring local and international artists. The evening culminates in an exclusive dinner hosted by a prominent collector, offering insight and conversation in a unique private setting. Second overnight in Marseille.


Day 3 – Travel to Aix-en-Provence for a morning visit to the elegant Hôtel de Caumont and its current exhibition. After lunch in the museum’s refined setting, delve into the optical and kinetic universe of the Vasarely Foundation. Arrive in the evening at a luxurious château where art, design, and gastronomy come together. Dinner and overnight at the château.


Day 4 – Begin your day with a guided walk through the world-renowned sculpture park at Château La Coste, where works by Serra, Bourgeois, Kapoor, and others unfold among rolling vineyards. Enjoy lunch on site, then spend a leisurely afternoon exploring the surrounding villages of Maussane, Les Baux-de-Provence, and Saint-Rémy-de-Provence at your own pace. Dinner in a vineyard setting and second overnight at the château.


Day 5 – Start the day at the Collection Lambert, a key institution for contemporary art in Provence, set within two beautifully restored 18th-century hôtels particuliers. After lunch in Avignon, visit the iconic Palais des Papes, one of the most remarkable medieval Gothic buildings in Europe. In the evening, enjoy a private dinner prepared by a local chef in a nearby village. Overnight in a charming maison d’hôtes.


Day 6 – Spend the day in Arles, where ancient history and contemporary creativity converge. Begin with a visit to the architectural marvel that is the LUMA Foundation. Enjoy a colorful and art-filled lunch at L’Arlatan, redesigned by artist Jorge Pardo. The afternoon continues with visits to the Lee Ufan Foundation, Galerie Anne Clergue, and the Van Gogh Foundation, celebrating the city’s lasting artistic legacy. Dinner in a Michelin-starred restaurant. Second night in the maison d’hôtes.


Day 7 – Departure
